This work is inspired by mine, and my mothers personal folklore about a specific area of the Adelaide Park Lands.

We like to believe that the little islands on the River Torrens/ Karrawirra Parri, seen from the River Torrens Linear Park trail, are inhabited by “duck villages” and they contain somewhat of a labyrinth of little huts made of shrubbery and flora.

We know it’s not true… or maybe it is.
