You can receive our regular newsletters for free. However you can make a difference if you do more than simply subscribe. We want you to become a member.
If you love the Adelaide Park Lands, then being a financially paid-up member is "putting your money where your mouth is".
As a financial member, you get:
the priceless satisfaction of supporting our work; to help others “Explore”, “Inspire”, “Protect”, and “Restore”
free participation in our regular guided Park Lands walks;
eligibility to become a Park Ambassador and lead an annual guided walk through one Park;
15% discount on Park Lands merchandise from the APA shop;
eligibility to nominate for election to the Managing Committee;
the responsibility to help guide our activities through the Annual General meeting; and
a printable PDF annual membership certificate (see below for current year’s example).
Joining is easy. There are three ways to pay your membership fees:
through the secure “Square” payment portal;
with a Paypal annual subscription, or
through a direct bank deposit (EFT).
In each case, your membership lasts for 12 months. Alternatively you can choose Life Membership. (See the options below.)
Our membership fees are:
ANNUAL
Single adult (regular): $35.00 p.a.
Single concession: $20.00 p.a. (NB: Concession membership is available only for “holders of recognised pension cards or full-time students”.)
Family (regular): $50.00 p.a.
Family (concession): $40.00 p.a.
Corporate: $75.00 p.a.
LIFE
One person, life member: $300

Don’t rely solely on your bank to email us, because your bank doesn’t divulge your email address!

How do I renew my membership?
If you are a LIFE Member there is no need to renew!
For annual memberships paid through Square or through bank transfer, you will receive an invoice, after 12 months, inviting you to renew your membership.
If you have an annual recurring Paypal subscription, you will be renewed automatically through Paypal, although you can, of course, instruct Paypal to cancel your subscription at any time.

We are an incorporated Association, and so we are bound by this Constitution (as amended up to 24 April 2022).
