I was inspired by the magic in landscape and the illusions created by a series of sunsets reflecting on the River Torrens. My painting delves into the interplay between reality, memory, and imagination.

I layered rediscovered images and used controlled colour processes influenced by computer graphics and digital imaging to capture the tonal movements, patterns, and light. I stamped paint onto the canvas, leaving coloured textures that evoke a hazy sense of remembrance, familiarity, time, and place.
