This Park contains three distinct areas that sit easily alongside each other.  There is a bushland trail, a “community hub”, both landscaped in 2016, and a well-used sporting oval, where the Prince Alfred College and its Old Collegians are seeking approval to build new facilities in 2021.

The bushland trail is a meandering path through thriving re-vegetation.  Giant river red gums and sugar gums provide habitat for possums, lorikeets, magpies and other birds, as well as cover for all the under-storey plantings.  The trail is literally framed by wooden lintels featuring dragonflies poised as if to take off over your head at any moment.
