Tap or click on this image to take the Guided Walk, using our Trail Guide. The trail starts at the corner of Prospect Rd and Barton Tce West. It’s about 2.5km, and takes up to two hours to complete.
This Park covers 17.8 hectares – in total about 11 times as large as the playing surface of Adelaide Oval. There were four sporting ovals in Park 2, two to the south of the former Aquatic Centre, and two to the east. The two southern ones have been removed.
There are also four tennis courts just off Prospect Rd.
In 2021, the Adelaide Football Club withdrew a threat to establish a $60 million corporate headquarters on this Park.
